Killen, AL – Incriminator Audio, a leader in high performance car audio, announced its intent to produce its new 2013 "Reserve" amplifiers line with SplitForce Technology. "SplitForce Technology will strengthen our new amplifier line as well as propel us even further in our reach for high power, high performance, cutting edge technology in an ever small compact footprint," said Nick Wright, President/CEO, Incriminator Audio.
SplitForce Technology is a patent pending approach developed by Incriminator Audio to create more powerful amplifiers with a smaller footprint. SplitForce divides the power supply section and the audio section into two halves and places them on top of each other in a vertical configuration, and uses link cables to attach the two sides together creating a working unit that can function like existing amplifiers, while both sides have their own PCB. The end result is an amplifier that is 50% smaller in length, while still maintaining the ability to strap or link amplifiers.
Incriminator Audio is planning the release of the all new IA40.1 (4800 RMS x 1 at 14.4v) and the IA80.1 (9600 RMS x 1 at 14.4v) models with SplitForce later this year. IA is truly excited about these models as the work on these models has required a lot of time and effort to say the absolute least. Every aspect of development has been time consuming, from tooling heat-sinks that will contain two boards, making the units work together with the links, to everything as small as creating the new panel PCB board for the voltage meter. It has been one challenge after another, and after many sleepless nights the end product is truly exceptional. The IA80.1 model is just over 19" long, and that speaks for itself.
