Air Driven Cooling
In 2007, Incriminator Audio released it's new updated models of subwoofers. One of the most important features was ADC. ADC or “Air Driven Cooling†is a method of cooling the outside of the voice coil that is accomplished by using six column spacers that separate the basket from the motor assembly. When power is applied the coil begins to move in the gap and air is pushed through the pole vent and around the coil. This method has been shown in our tests to cool the voice coil over 30 degrees Fahrenheit in higher power handling applications.
