Dave Cochran - 4 DP 15's Review
I have 4 15" Death Penalties in my wall in my grand caravan. I recently went to a comp/meet and metered them, with 6000rms going to all 4, I did a 149.1 @ 29hz, a 152.4 @ 37hz and a 125.5 in drive-by. These subs LOVE to get low. My van flexes to no end, and they barely even get warm. They are a great product and VERY reliable with great customer service from a great company. Nick and Josh have answered all my questions from day 1. After the meet I ended up going home with 4 1st place trophies. That just goes to show what Incriminator Audio can do!

Loyd Lowry's - Death Penalty 12 Dual 2 Review:
I recently had a long listen and test session with a dual 2 ohm Death Penalty 12" woofer, which was kindly supplied by Nick Wright. Listening test involved a 1 cuft sealed box.. output testing involved a 3.5 cuft box tuned to 45hz.. meter used was an Audio Toolbox, power was a single American Bass Cx1200d, vehicles used was a ford escort for listening, and my own for SPL.. (woofer box where the passenger seat should be... firing rearward)

The Sound:
Overall.. a fairly nice sounding driver, but it didn't seem to lend itself to high performance in a sealed box. It lacked a bit of low end authority on tracks, and was a bit peeky overall. While not horrible, it may not suit a few people here and there. Being completely honest, this is an SPL geared driver, so its not uncommon to see a lack of performance in said sealed boxes. Overall, 7 out of 10. I didn't get a chance to do ported evaluation, but I'm quite certain it would perform much better than it did sealed.. maybe next time..

The Boom:
Long story short, this woofer gets loud as hell, and will take a ton of abuse. Its decently efficient, and peaks great in high tune SPL boxes. I measured peaks in excess of 149 db in car with 1100 watts of power ( in comparison to the loudest woofer I've used, the SI magnum, its exactly as loud as it was) the only difference is the Death Penalty keeps getting louder as the volume increases to huge sizes. The woofer took everything my amp had, with no noise, smell, or stress. Excellent SPL driver.. 10 / 10

After reviewing the driver, and sending it back, I went to drag finals, and personally met Nick at Incriminator, and got to see several vehicles try his woofers out, with excellent results.. only had one killed woofer the entire weekend... very strong showing..

In conclusion... its designed to get loud, and it does the job extremely well. If you're looking for a smalled sealed box wonder, you won't find it here, but in ported alignments.. look out

Nick Morgan's - Death Penalty 12 Dual 2 Review:
Well ladies and gents I had a little time to recently play with a Incriminator Audio Death Penalty series sub. This was of the 12” variety so I figured I’d post my honest opinion and somewhat mini review of the sub.

At a glance the sub just says ‘I’m loud’. With a name like Death Penalty and a skull and cross bones on the dustcap makes you think it is worth a look. But let’s face it, it’s plain, simple, and gets the job done…loud…very very loud at that. There is no carbon fiber, no shiney chrome, no add ons that really do nothing but up the price of the woofer. This keeps the the price/preformance ratio very good for the average consumer, like you and me. For looks, and just keeping it simple I give it a 8 out of 10 possible points.

Build quality! Man, where do I start. This sub is TOUGH! The Death Penalty series driver’s are assembeled on site at Incriminator Audio, by the staff at hand. I can honestly tell that this is a very very well built sub, that has been well thought out by Nick himself. The choices in parts that are used are excellent and end up as great combonation for a good sub that you can litterally beat the hell out of, regularly and it not fail. For overall build quality, and cleanliness I give it a 10 out of 10. Great job guys! Just a lil FYI. At dBDrag world finals it took about 5 mins to CUT one of these things apart…normally takes me no longer then 30 seconds…the spiders are very very tough, and secured to the basket extremely well!

Well here goes the part where I’m supposed to say what I heard. First off, the box that it was tested in was a 1.0 cubic foot sealed box, with around 1200w for the driver (4ohms off of my dei 2400d). The sub preformed very very well, I was actually amazed at the overall output of the driver in a sealed box. It has to be one of the loudest woofers I’ve heard to date. (I was unable to do any spl testing, due to the lack of an SPL meter… ) SQ - well, it’s a dual voice coil, with 3 spiders mainly SPL driver….what can I say really? It sounded abnormally good for what I define a ‘SPL’ driver, it never broke accuracy and the transient response was excellent. It was by no means a ‘mellow’ sub, it is NOT meant for SQ applications, but it will do excellent for the average person that is wanting something that is loud, reliable, reproduces music somewhat accurately…and really worth the money from the customer service and support.

Overall SQ I give it a 7 out of 10…SPL I give It a 10 out of a possible 10, Let’s face it guy’s….this woofer is Stinkin Loud!

Paul Nelson Former Extreme 1-2 World Champion:
"They impressed me to say the least. The performance is remarkable, they got crazy loud. Incriminators are some of the best woofers I've ever put in my car."
