September Edition

Issue:  013

September is here and we are full speed ahead in preparation for World Finals.  We are proud to host the event in our city Huntsville, Alabama.  Be sure to stop by the Incriminator Audio booth and pick up your "Explore the Rocket City," brochure that we prepared for you guys.  Huntsville has so much to offer and this brochure contains a list of some of the things you can do on your visit. We highlight all the best food, bars, entertainment, and family events throughout our city. Be sure to check out the "Breweries/Craft beer," section!  See you in the Rocket City!

The IA6.4 Series amplifiers by Incriminator Audio are unlike any others on the market. Utilizing surface mount technology, and through strategic board space utilization, the IA6.4 has a tiny footprint that is less than 12" long, and produces enough power even at 4 ohms to challenge some of the most advanced component sets. Like all IA series amplifiers, these amps are packed with tons of standard features, and incorporate our Bullet Proof protection technology, that stereo competitors have grown to love. The new IA6.4 is very versatile, and can be used to power both an advanced front stage, and a nice sub stage with a flexible bandpass crossover with X1/X10 switches. You can crossover the front channels to run a component set from 50 Hz to 5000 Hz with ease using low pass and high pass filters. You can then bridge the back channels and use the low pass and subsonic filters to run a subwoofer, the remote will allow for a bass knob with a clipping indicator so you can control the subwoofer. The options are endless from any type configuration or installation with the mirror feature.

Incriminator Audio would like to feature Shaun Cleveland as our Competitor of the Month. Shaun resides in Oviedo, Florida.  Our good friend and current competitor/dealer Rob Hipps turned Shaun onto our products.  We asked Shaun to tell us about his experiences so far?

"I've always been really big into loud music. I actually purchased my first system before I even owned my first car.  I met Rob Hipps about five years ago. When Rob first started running IA products, I absolutely loved his 15 inch Death Row. I knew I had to have one!

I finally purchased a Death Row 12. I ran it in my single cab truck and it was awesome.  I went to a few events with Rob and decided to enter my truck for the first time.  I have been competing ever since! I have ran multiple IA setups. I have wanted to be on Team Incriminator for a long while and finally got that opportunity. I am so proud to be a part of the Incriminator Audio team.  I constantly promote the product and run it daily. I have always been impressed with the quality and performance of Incriminator Audio products.   Last year I won the  Florida State Championship in MECA Street 2, while running two Death Row 15 inch subs on two 20.1 amplifiers. I am now currently in a three way tie for first place at the upcoming World Finals in MECA Street 4. I am currently running  two 18 inch Judges on two 40.1 amplifiers in a no wall setup."

Way to represent Incriminator Audio Shaun!  Good luck at World Finals!

Car Audio Competition organizations dBDRAG (dB Drag Racing Association), MECA (Mobile Electronics Competition Association) and IASCA (International Autosound Challenge Association) are once again joining forces to produce a unified finals event. The event will be held at the Von Braun Center in Huntsville, AL, during the weekend of October 17-18, 2015. This event will include all competitors from SQ to SPL and will allow for the opportunity to compete in multiple formats all under one roof.

The venue was host to the 2nd Annual Car Audio Championships in 2013 and was liked by many competitors, requesting that we return to the venue. Upon research and consideration of the competitors’ requests, the decision was made to return.

As in years past, the event will feature a “Quiet Zone” for SQ Judging in IASCA and MECA each morning of the event, and plans are under way for the option of Friday night judging of sound quality vehicles. An SQ schedule will be released within the next 30 days.

The SPL competition will take place in the building with ample space to hold more than 100 vehicles. Plans are already under way for an improved floor plan/lane structure to improve traffic flow.

"Many IASCA competitors have stated they really enjoyed the Huntsville venue and in all honesty, we liked it too" said Moe Sabourin, Director of Operations for IASCA "Hotels were located virtually next door to the venue, restaurants were nearby and access to the building from all directions was easy. Plus, the Von Braun Center is a quality building worthy of hosting an event of this caliber; we look forward to returning there in 2015.”

“The dBDRAG is thrilled to have finals back in Huntsville again for 2015.” Said dB Drag Racing Association Marketing Director, Celise Harris “The collaborative effort of the organizations is a huge benefit to all of the parties involved. The dBDRAG will also offer crossover organization points for competitors to use towards their Finals points requirements. We understand that there are only so many weekends available during the season and we want to include as many participants as possible. The location in Huntsville should offer ample space to accommodate everyone.”

The MECA club is committed to enhancing the awareness and popularity of car audio sports, for us SQL and SPL, and everything to do with car audio and mobile electronics.” Stated MECA President Steve Stern, "We've had a bump in interest and participation, and having a great venue like Huntsville will reward our dedicated members and fans with a great event".

Special hotel rates will be available and details will be announced in the coming days.

For more information on exhibiting or sponsorships at the event, please contact one of the organization representatives or the show coordinator.
